Franck Pellé-Rolland is a French choral conductor. He studied choral conducting under Nicole Corti and Antoine Finck, and occasionally under Régine Théodoresco.
Franck took part in many workshops or courses in France, Belgium, Italy and UK to complete his experience under musicians of various influences : Peter Phillips (The Tallis Scholars), Tõnu Kaljuste, Adrian Lucas, Ghislaine Morgan, Gunnar Eriksson, Roland Hayrabédian, Marcel Pérès, Daïnouri Choque, Bruno Boterf, Nageswara Rao...
Franck conducted such pieces as Messa a 4 da Capella (1641) and Sestina by Monteverdi, Missa Brevis by Palestrina, Stabat Mater and Mass in G major by Caldara, Sécheresses Cantata by Poulenc, pieces by Victoria, Brahms, R. Thompson...
He is artistic director for Le Chant des Oyseaux and for the "Ensemble Choral Mixte de Lyon", and a piano teacher. He sang in the "Choeurs de Lyon-Bernard Tétu" for eleven years. He is a member of the Association of British Choral Directors and of the Australian National Choral Association.
